Good morning, Tiger Fans,
Missed opportunities sent LSU packing, as the Tigers lost 5-4 to Texas A&M in yesterday’s SEC Tournament elimination match. With the loss, LSU now awaits confirmation that it will host a regional in the NCAA Tournament — hopefully as a Top 8 National Seed — when the seedings are announced on Monday.
LSU jumped out to a 3-1 lead before its bullpen gave up four runs in the seventh inning, allowing the Aggies to go on top, 5-3. But make no mistake about it; the bullpen doesn’t deserve the blame for this loss — at least not all of it.
