Critical Urban Agenda is a compilation of several projects and a Blog that share the same goal of Rethinking the Urban towards a social and environmental transformation within the contemporary context of Planetary Urbanisation. The projects are NOT about efficiency or smart cities but about inducing systemic change. A global network of multi-disciplinary scientists, artists and urban practitioners are behind these projects.

This Series links up to the global political process of Habitat III – the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development. It addresses topics of central importance to Habitat III from 1) an unconventional angle and 2) an ‘on the ground’ perspective to identify practical, yet effective, entry points for a more realistic agenda.
