The harbour village of Crail, situated in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, hosts the annual Crail Festival during the third and fourth weeks of July. Nearly 40 events for adults and children spread over 11 days is supplemented by longer-running activities such as a putting green. Tickets generally go on sale in June, with advance sales to residents of Crail before they are offered on sale to visitors.
The Crail Festival Society is the registered charity that puts on the festival each year. The trustees include Scottish actor Clive Russell, who appeared on the TV series Game of Thrones. Their aim is to put on a fun, affordable family event that showcases the beauty of the area as well as its food, artists, and musicians.
