The Red River Valley Juvenile Center (RRVJC) located in Crookston, MN, is temporarily closing the secure detention portion of the facility as of May 5, 2023. The temporary closure is necessary due to staffing shortages which have been encountered. While no definitive time frame for reopening the secure detention portion of the facility has been established, it is estimated that the temporary closure will remain in place through June 2023.
