Pele trivia is such an important part of sports history, as he is to soccer what Michael Jordan is to Basketball and what Wayne Gretzky is to hockey. Pele is a nickname that he came to be known under later in his life, and when he was born in 1940 his name was Edison Arantes do Nascimento.
