The City of Newport Street Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Mechanic.
Responsibilities include ability to repair and troubleshoot vehicles, experience with diesel- and gas-powered vehicles required, obtain estimates when needed, ability and knowledge to use proper tool, work with multiple departments. Candidates must possess CDL driver’s license and have prior experience working as a mechanic. Starting hourly rates is $18.56 and top out is $19.49.
