Accomplished in both classical and electric guitar, Chris’s compositional credits include the soundtrack for the documentary H.M.S. Detroit – The Battle Continues , an album of classical and steel string guitar music entitled Not That Far Away and an album of classical guitar pieces entitled Voice to the Soul . His duet Prelude for Guitar and Flute has been published by Columbia Music, and his Postlude (from Suite #1 for Guitar ) was listed as a competition piece for the Canadian Contemporary Music Festival
The duo recorded the piece in 2004 and released it on the CD of the same name (click here to read a review). The duet Mud Temple (guitar and violin) was premiered in Turkey in the summer of 2003 by Duo46 , who has plans for recording it in the near future. Chris has also written duets for guitar and ‘cello, harpsichord, flute, charango, and synthesizer. He has also written music for solo charango.
Although still active as a performing solo guitarist, Chris’s primary focus over the past few years has been composing music for and performing with prog band Falling Edge .
