My name is Rachael and I am the Director of Blossom Children’s Occupational Therapy Ltd. Within the team, we have six Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapists and Sensory Integration Practitioners. We also have a Specialist Literacy tutor and two Specialist Speech & Language Therapists to provide a multi-disciplinary approach. We are therefore able to provide prodominantly an Occupational Therapy service but also some Speech and Language Therapy. Alongside Blossom staff, we work closely with many other
We have a clinic in Stanion Village, Northamptonshire where we provide assessments, therapy, training and support groups. Together we provide a holistic approach to supporting children, their families and their educational settings. We can offer support from our clinic space for anyone wishing to travel. We also provide community based work in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
We can support children with difficulties such as : - • Attention and focus • Motor skills such as riding a bike, catching a ball, handwriting, using cutlery • Access to the learning enviornment • Self esteem • Sensory processing , including regulation • Play skills • Behaviour and trauma responses • Planning and organisation • Speech sound delays and disorders • Stammering • Social communication and interaction • Communication associated with social, emotional and mental health needs
