Calder Yates is a writer and artist. He\u2019s taught art at Florida State College of Jacksonville and California College of the Arts. He has worked for the New York City Office of Emergency Management and collaborated and danced with Club Lyfestile, a neon unitard\u2013wearing dance group based in Philadelphia. Calder Yates is an artist and a writer. He currently works for California College of the Arts . He is a contributing writer for KQED and Artillery , was formerly a columnist for Art Practical and Daily Serving , and consults for the Mayo Clinic's Center for Humanities in Medicine .
