I am a research scientist at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute . Previously, I received my PhD in computer science in the GRASP lab at University of Pennsylvania co-advised by Dr. Kostas Daniilidis and Dr. Nikolai Matni . During my PhD studies, I completed a M.S.E. in Robotics from University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and was awarded the Haidas and Chryssikou Fellowship for my research.
My research interests lie in the intersection of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. The focus of my current research is on building mobile manipulators which can reliably operate in novel and dynamic environments.
During my PhD, I interned in the Seattle Robotics Lab at NVIDIA Research. Prior to starting my PhD, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation where I worked from 2014 to 2019. I received an M.A. in Mathematics, M.A. in Economics, and B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from The University of Alabama in 2014.
