I teach in the Art Department at Stony Brook University, where I am affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Computational Science and direct the Graduate Certificate in Media, Art, Culture, and Technology. I earned a doctorate from UC Berkeley in Rhetoric with Emphases in Film and in New Media, a hands-on master’s degree in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from NYU, and an undergraduate degree in English from Princeton.
