My Journey: I am the owner and visionary of Breathe Birth Care. A little over eight years ago I fell into the line of birth work by first becoming a Doula, then Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Hypnobabies Instructor, Placenta Encapsulator, and so on. I then gave birth to my first child at home in our little studio apartment, and it changed everything, I was empowered. When our daughter was about eighteen months old I was invited to Haiti to learn from the midwives and it was there that I fell in love
My Loves: Nic (my partner) has been my number one support throughout this entire journey, and in life in general, there are no words to describe the level of love and strength he has given me. When I came home from MamaBaby Haiti and declared I would be going to midwifery school, he replied: “That seems right, when do you start?” Ru, Wilder, and Casi are my babies, and they each bring immense joy into my life.
