Information Resource on Where to Request a Court Hearing on a Towed or Booted Motor Vehicle
House Bill 338 was passed by the 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, 2013 (now codified at Texas Occupations Code sections 2308.453 and 2308.455). Part of the bill amended the Texas Occupations Code to require a hearing relating to a towed motor vehicle to be in any justice court in the county, rather than the precinct, from which a vehicle was towed.
