Andy Clarke, former President and CEO of ASDA, has over 25 years' experience driving performance improvement in multi-brand international businesses.
He has managed multisite retail businesses from £1b to £25b turnover, with net income from £150m to £1.1b and employees from 18k to 180k. Sector experience includes food, fashion and general merchandise in both property intensive, multi-channel and online retailers.
Andy currently has a portfolio career: he acts as a policy advisor to the UK government; holds several corporate Chairmanships; and NGO advisory roles. An advocate for plastics reform, he has been active in driving practical change and public debate through the media.
