Owner Fares Kargar, originally from Gorgan, Iran, grew up cooking with his mother, aunts, and grandmother. The name Bibi is roughly translated to mean a strong female community leader, so this is an homage to Kargar’s family. Kargar came to the United States to earn a degree in hospitality from Georgia State University and later go on to open his first restaurant Delbar.”
