STRIKES At the All Presidents’ Meeting in late January, we heard from the leaders of unions in which educators have voted to go on strike in the past year (Brookline, Haverhill, Malden, Melrose). Each told a moving story about how their members came together after long periods of stalled negotiations at the bargaining table.
