Description: Bay Street Theater is a not-for-profit 299-seat professional regional theater situated on Long Wharf, in Sag Harbor, NY, and founded in 1991 by Sybil Christopher, Stephen Hamilton, and Emma Walton.
In the early 1950s, the race to discover the structure of DNA grips the scientific community. One brilliant young researcher, Rosalind Franklin, contends with adversity, anti-semitism, and love to uncover one of life's great mysteries. But will she sacrifice what makes her human, in order to discover what makes us human?

The speakers will elaborate on past and current barriers facing underrepresented groups and potential solutions to remedy these along with speaking to the legacy of Rosalind Franklin subject of The World Premiere Musical Double Helix, And the inspiration she provided to future generations.
