Is Listening to Audiobooks Really Reading? This is clearly my own personal opinion, but I do this little controversary pop up every now and then. With any topic of conversation, there are die hards on either end of the spectrum and all those who fall somewhere in the middle. Personally, I 100% consider audiobooks as reading. I'm a slow reading and have very little down time to sit down and read meaning I'd be lucky to finish more than one book a month. With audiobooks, I can typically get through about thr
My son is also a slower reader and giving him a physicals book with the audio is the only way I can convince him to read. Sometimes he uses the physical book, sometimes he just listens to the story. Either way he is learning comprehension and analysis skills.
Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and if you don't agree, that's cool. I respect that. I don't like reading nonfiction or historical fiction. That's cool, tool. Hopefully you still respect me. I did however, decide to do a little research and see what other thoughts on the topic were.
