Every year ATOM Festival hosts a series of events  to allow our community to discover the world-class science and technology taking place right here, as well as learning about the companies, organisations and scientists who make it happen. The festival is traditionally held in March and in 2024 this will again be the case with the dates 16th-24th March earmarked for ATOM's showcase of top class science and innovation, brought to you through events like the Science Market, the Family Science Fair and the Pea

From debates, talks, workshops and comedy - from a Science Market in Abingdon's historic Market Place to the legendary big Family Science Fair,  the festival brings together world-leading organisations and scientists in Abingdon. The Festival draws to an end with our headliner Peagram Lecture which has in past years featured speakers such as Hannah Fry, Jim Al Khalili and Helen Czerski.
