Welcome to the Anthill Mob Skittle Team Website! The Anthill Mob play in Men’s Division 1 of the Lyme Regis & District Skittles League and our home skittle alley is at Wootton Fitzpaine Social Club , near Charmouth in West Dorset.
In this league there are 6 players in a team and the game is played over 8 "hands". Each player has 3 balls to throw and all pins are stuck back up if they are all hit down - a maximum score of 27 pins being possible. Once the main game has finished, a separate "Beer Leg" is then played with the losing team buying the drinks for the winners of that one extra hand.
Although there are six players in a team, the Anthill Mob had 14 players signed on for the 2018/19 season. The season runs from September to June each year and entries for the following season are made at the Skittles League AGM held in July.
