In 1983, Annales Geophysicae (ANGEO) was launched by the European Geophysical Society (EGS) and published bimonthly by Gauthier-Villars. From 1994 to 2001, the journal was published by Springer . Articles published in Volume 13 (1995) and 14 (1996, until issue 9) are available there for a fee. Since 2001, the journal has been published by Copernicus Publications.
