Andre Clark begins his 20th year of teaching choral music in Texas during 2020. Mr. Clark serves as the Head Choir Director and Fine Arts Department Chair at Westwood High School . Mr. Clark is currently serving as the TMEA Region 26 Secretary. He has served TMEA Regions 18 and 26 in several capacities: Vocal Division Chair, Vocal Division Secretary, Treasurer, Region Secretary, and Vocal Division Tabulations Chair. Mr. Clark was born and raised in Houston where he attended North Shore High School . He then attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, and after a brief career in IT, graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. In Spring 2016, he completed a Masters of Music Education degree from the University of Florida .
He and his wife, Stacy, reside in Hutto, Texas. Mr. Clark spends as much time as possible riding his motorcycle off-road, and explaining the nuances of professional motocross to Stacy, their two cats, Ellie, and KiKi, and their dog, Bailey. Clark also enjoys time playing disc golf with the GACDDGL, the Greater Austin Choir Directors Disc Golf League.
