This website presents main results of the AMPERE project, funded under the European Union's 7 th Framework Programme (FP7). The project was conducted from February 2011 to January 2014.
The AMPERE project analysed climate mitigation pathways and associated mitigation costs under technology and policy limitations. In a series of multi-model comparisons, it evaluated model differences and the relationship between model results and historical trends. AMPERE was a collaborative effort among partners from 22 institutions in Europe, Asia and North America. It included 17 energy economy and integrated assessment models with diverse strengths and structures.
