Altr is a gateway to the world of luxury collectibles, offering collectors an easy way to purchase rare and fine collectibles either in full or as a fraction using USDt Stablecoin. Additionally, Altr allows collectors to digitize their existing collections and use them as collateral to borrow liquidity without selling them. A digital proof of ownership, in the form of an NFT, is issued and can be held, traded, collateralized, or redeemed for the physical item at any time.

Once a collectible is introduced by a seller, it can be either sold as a whole through the sale of one single ownership certificate (NFT), or it can be split into fractions, offering the possibility to everyone of co-owning their dream Ferrari, a rare Patek-Philippe or other luxury collectibles offered by Altr’s trusted sellers.

Collectors can digitise their collectibles and receive a digital ownership certificate. Following an expert appraisal, owners can choose to store their collectibles at one of Altr's affiliated free port storage facilities, use them as collateral, or physically claim them back at any time.
