On Monday, May 29, 2023, at Noon there will be a Memorial Day ceremony held at Veterans Plaza in Allen Park (the old VA Memorial on The Hill). Everyone is welcome. Afterwards, American Legion Post 409 will offer complimentary hot dogs and chips.
There will be a salute to Vietnam Veterans held May 20-21, 2023 sponsored by the Selfridge Air National Guard Base Museum. Post 409 will host a Superbowl party in the Club Room on Sunday, February 12, 2023. There will be a potluck dinner. Doors open at 4 pm. All members and their guests are invited.
