While we celebrate the overturning of Roe v.Wade and the thousands of lives that will be saved, God’s people must also be prepared to help women facing unplanned pregnancies, as well as offering support to the aged and terminally ill. AFL’s Life SUMMIT empowers attendees to be effective ministers of the Gospel of Life to those that are lost and lonely in our communities.
If you’re in middle school or high school, we invite you to ySUMMIT 2024 on January 18, 2024! This event is centered around the abundant life that Jesus gives us. Through worship, fellowship, and engaging speakers, we’ll connect the Gospel with the most pressing social justice topics surrounding life, so that you can make a difference for His Kingdom here on earth.
Students who attend these events must be accompanied by adult youth leaders (1 leader for every 8 students.) If you are bringing both male and female students, churches need to send both male and female leaders. If your church does not have a youth program, we would love to have you join us. You can ask a parent to be your leader or you can reach out to another church and ask if you can be part of their group. Youth leaders, if you're considering bringing a group of students to Washington D.C. for the ySUMM
