CLARI supports local research partnerships between community partners and faculty/ student researchers. We do this by connecting communities to expertise in our partner institutions and enabling collaboration through our grant funding.
Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions support communities at home in many ways. However, we believe there is an untapped potential to bring researchers together from across the CLARI network to work with communities on shared issues through collaboratives .
We provide modest research grants so that community partners can engage with post-secondary experts and work together on social and economic challenges of interest to the community partner. In many cases these relationships are sustained beyond CLARI projects.
