Description: ASCCO main aim is to Improve public education.We are involved in a range of research, projects and other collaborative work to explore and support improvements in public education. We also share and gather information through forums, conferences and presentations.
Commenting from a national perspective will contribute to and comment on debates and decisions affecting public education, ranging from funding to curriculum and from national testing programs to school starting.
Forty years of research shows considerable evidence for the importance of family engagement in school. Our website provides tools and links which support family engagement practices in schools and how families encourage learning at home and in the community.
