To owners of transmitter systems manufactured by Acrodyne Industries,
Acrodyne Industries (AI) manufactured the Quantum series of IOT (Inductive Output Tube) transmitters from 2001 to 2009. Since 2009, Acrodyne Services has provided troubleshooting, on-site service, spare parts and limited repair services for the Quantum transmitters. Many of the components used in the transmitter are now obsolete. As it has become increasingly difficult to source replacement parts for these transmitters, we have been able to effectively “harvest” parts and assemblies from Quantum installatio
Our capability to support the remaining installed base of Quantum IOT transmitters is rapidly declining and it is with regret that we must announce the end of support for the product line, effective June 30, 2022. At the same time Acrodyne Services will cease doing business. Its personnel and assets will be absorbed into the Sinclair Engineering group to continue the on-going projects to replace the IOT transmitters with new solid-state transmitters.
