Abbey Care was established in 1997 by Mike and Nessa Downes and was run by them until their retirement in 2016. Mike and Nessa were absolutely dedicated to their clients, striving to provide a service that was flexible, reliable and always went the 'extra mile' for the clients and their families. Mike and Jenny Nightingale joined the company in 2004, and took over the running of Abbey Care when Mike and Nessa retired.
